I hope everyone had a wonderful week! I am so happy it is finally Friday. Tomorrow my mom, brother, niece and I are going to see The Little Mermaid musical at the Broward Center for the Performing Arts and I am so excited!! I hope they don’t care that I plan to belt out every song. On Sunday Luke doesn’t have to work for the first time in a while so I am hoping we can make it out to the Lake Worth Street Painting Festival. Those artists are so talented and it is fun to see what they come up with! Now time to see what favorites I found this week…
Favorite Party Props: In the last few years photo booths have become all the rage at everything from weddings to birthday parties. I love all things Disney and when I saw these photo booth props on Etsy it made me want to throw a party. Of course I had to show The Little Mermaid props since we are going to see it tomorrow. So cute!!
Favorite Beach Accessory: If I am being honest I am not really a beach person but when I saw this chair from Ostrich I thought it was awesome. Trying to read a book while laying out can be a bit difficult and this chair is a reader’s dream. Sure you may look silly putting your face in a hole to read but who cares. Now to decide what color I want…
Favorite Home Bar Inspiration: When we moved into our current apartment we couldn’t fit our TV armoire in our room so I decided to turn it into a bar. I like it but lately I have been wanting to get rid of it and get something smaller. A lot of people use bar carts and while those are very cute they don’t have much storage space. I saw this small home bar on Pinterest and just loved the look of it.
Favorite Greeting Cards: I love a funny, creative greeting card and these cards from Wit & Whistle do not disappoint. There were so many that made me laugh out loud that it was hard to just pick 4 to show you. It takes talent to make sperm drawings or the word fart look cute on a card. She also makes pin, prints, stamps, & notepads.
Favorite Gardening Shortcut: This vertical planter is perfect for people whose houses don’t have much of a backyard or who live in an apartment. You can grow fruits, vegetables, herbs, or flowers and it can hang over a balcony or attach to a wall.
Favorite Getaway: My family has a timeshare in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico at the Montecristo Estates and it is paradise. It is a 3 bedroom villa with an infinity pool that overlooks the ocean. The great thing about this timeshare is that the company has a ton of other locations all over the world that we can use. I think it is time to plan a vacation!
Favorite Crock Pot Recipe: I make these Grape Jelly Meatballs anytime I need to make a quick appetizer that feeds a party full of people. They are easy to make and always a hit. The ingredients are weird but trust me these are yummy, yummy, yummy. You won’t be disappointed!
Favorite Gift for a Book Worm: My future step-sister, Lexi, posted a video of these folded art books on my Facebook page and I had to include them today. This is the perfect gift for anyone in your life who loves to read. Note to husband: If you want to ever propose to me again I just found the perfect way for you to do it. Take the “Marry Me” books and set them up at a bookstore and TA DA!! Perfection! To purchase from the artist that made the ones pictured you can go to her Etsy shop here or a friend also sent me this website that makes them also but they are a bit more affordable.
Favorite Springtime Outfit: If I came across a magic lamp one of my wishes would be that my Pinterest fashion boards would instantly be in my closet. There are so many outfits on there that I would never put together myself but absolutely love. A lot of the outfits on Pinterest are made on Polyvore which is great because you can find where to buy everything.
