This past Saturday my mom, brother, niece, and I went to go see The Little Mermaid musical at the Broward Center for the Performing Arts and it was wonderful! I don’t know many woman my age who don’t answer with “The Little Mermaid” when asked what their favorite Disney movie is. Can you believe it came out in 1989? Of course I had to wear my Ariel shirt and Sunny had to wear her Ariel tutu dress. It is amazing that a movie that came out when I was a kid is still popular with kids today. That is just the magic of Disney.
When we got there we of course first had to go to the merchandise table where little miss sunshine picked out a shell purse. There was a dinglehopper there that I wanted but then I told myself I am 34 years old, hehe. As we made our way inside the theater we were surprised to find out our tickets were located in the club level, we apparently bought fancy tickets and didn’t even know it. The club area had complimentary food and beverages so that just made an already great day even better! The show was magical, I sang as quietly as I could, and we had a great time! I highly recommend it to anyone who loved the movie growing up or whose kids love it today. It runs until March 5th so go get your tickets today!!
There was not photography/videography allowed during the performance so the above pictures of the actual show are credited to Mark & Tracy Photography.
